Iran's Palestine-themed movie embarks on sequel

iFilm movie 'The Survivor' themed on Palestine has ventured into a sequel after nearly three decades.

'The Survivor' tells the grim story of the occupation of the Palestinian city of Haifa by Zionist forces in 1948 and recounts how a loving grandmother does the unthinkable to save her only surviving grandchild from being raised by a Zionist couple. 

The sequel is at the pre-production stage and the cast and crew will be announced soon. 

iFilm English has aired the original film as a weekend flick.
